European Performance is looking for a full-time Automotive Parts Manager to help keep our shop organized, efficient, and moving forward.

We specialize in European vehicles including BMW, MINI, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, and Mercedes-Benz. We are looking for someone who takes pride in accuracy, organization, communication, and follow-through. This role is a key part of our team because the right parts, ordered correctly and on time, directly affect our technicians, advisors, customers, and overall shop flow.

The Parts Manager is responsible for researching, ordering, receiving, staging, tracking, and returning parts. This person will work closely with our service advisors and technicians to make sure each repair order has the correct parts, accurate pricing, clear ETAs, and clean communication.

Responsibilities

  • Look up and order parts accurately using VINs, diagrams, catalogs, and vendor resources
  • Communicate with vendors to verify availability, pricing, fitment, and delivery times
  • Receive incoming parts and match them to the correct repair orders
  • Stage parts for technicians so jobs are ready before work begins
  • Track special-order parts, backorders, cores, returns, and warranty parts
  • Keep advisors updated on parts pricing, availability, and ETA changes
  • Maintain clean organization in the parts area
  • Help protect parts gross profit by checking pricing, margins, and vendor options
  • Handle returns and cores in a timely manner
  • Reduce wrong parts, missing parts, and technician downtime
  • Help maintain inventory of commonly used parts, fluids, filters, and shop supplies
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and parts suppliers

What We Are Looking For

  • Automotive parts experience preferred
  • European vehicle experience is a plus, but not required for the right person
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Organized and able to manage multiple repair orders at once
  • Comfortable using computers, parts catalogs, and shop management software
  • Able to work well with advisors, technicians, and vendors
  • Willing to take ownership of the parts process
  • Reliable, professional, and team-focused
  • Able to stay calm and organized in a busy shop environment

What Success Looks Like

A successful Parts Manager keeps the shop moving. Technicians have what they need, advisors have accurate information, customers get clear updates, and parts issues are handled before they become bigger problems.

This is not just an ordering position. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the parts department and help improve the overall efficiency of the shop.

Pay

Pay is based on experience.

Expected range: $50,000–$70,000 per year, depending on experience and ability.
